Patternfly represents contemporary art photography born out of passion for the Visual Arts. It is an original body of work ranging from fine art, abstract and macro photography which reflects beautifully the Art of Versatility created by Anne-Mari Ahola (1969). She works from her home-based studio in Eibergen, The Netherlands.
About Patternfly
‘As its name would suggest, Patternfly love patterns. That’s right, but my focus is on coloring them outside the lines when it comes to fine art photography. As a visual artist I have the freedom to do so!‘
I promote my art under the moniker Patternfly. PatternflyCollection is a creative concept from Ahola Production Design – allround design studio I founded in 2007. Besides my skills as visual artist, I offer design services in set design for television, concerts and live events productions. Having a career as an visual artist and allround set designer was a logical choice for me. Artistic vision and design skills are needed in both areas.

My work as a artist is very diverse, consisting of art projects of fine art photography around certain themes, such as the flowers or abstract. My recent work focuses on experiencing the creation processes between minimalism and detailed compositions.

My fine art collections are exclusively in limited editions (of 25) available. All individual prints are signed, numbered and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. The most of my fine art prints are available in 5 sizes; A4, A4+ A3, A3+ and A2. Images are printed onto standard paper sizes with a white border on all 4 sides. On the bottom the images are printed with a white border of 20 mm allowing the print to be signed and numbered.
Due to my experience in large format printing and materials, I can also deliver other paper sizes or with customised dimensions upon request. In my presentations I often link my creations to a spatial experience. On my Patternfly website, the viewer can already admire various collections in an art gallery setting. Ultimately, my goal is to present the collection completely virtually in the future.
